History of Peerless Chain Company
Peerless Chain, established as a manufacturer of tire chains in 1917 eventually expanded into hardware and industrial chain as well as wire forms by the 1960’s. By the late 1970’s Peerless Chain had entered the overhead lifting market as well.
Primarily known as a chain supplier to the local hardware stores and retail chain stores, the face of Peerless Chain began to change with the acquisition of Weissenfels USA in March of 2004 and the acquisition of American Chain Company (ACCO) in July of 2006. The acquisition of these two companies expanded the industrial market for Peerless Chain; specifically the Overhead Lifting and the Marine chain and fittings markets. Today the PEERLESS INDUSTRIAL GROUP is recognized as a national leader in the chain and fitting industry with a reputation for excellence in product quality and service; your source for all of your chain and fitting needs. |
