Meets S.A.E. Class “S” clearance requirements for passenger cars, pick-ups and SUVs!
Whitestar Alloy can meet Class “S” clearance requirements on SUVs and pickup trucks, as well as normal passenger cars (matched only by our line of “Z” cable products). This is possible because of an improvement in metallurgy and a re-design of the fastening system.
The cross member links are made of manganese alloy steel, allowing them to be shorter, narrower and lighter than conventional cross members. This reduces “fly-off” during operation and also provides more gripping points. The reduced size and weight of the links also contributes to longer wear because the impact of the cross members on the road surface is reduced.
Whitestar Alloy can be installed without moving (or jacking up) the vehicle! Chain tensioners are required and included. Also included are a waterproof installation mat, waterproof gloves and a few repair links (just in case)
